Water Fire Extinguishers
Water Fire Extinguishers tackle fires by cooling the burning material and absorbing the heat. They are designed for Class A fires only and have a red coloured identifying band on them..
Foam Fire Extinguishers
Foam Fire Extinguishers tackle fires by cooling and smothering the burning material. They are designed for Class A and B fires only and have a cream coloured identifying band on them
Co2 Fire Extinguishers
Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguishers tackle fires by smothering excluding air from the burning material. They are designed for Class B fires and fires involving electrical equipment only and have a black coloured identifying band on them
Powder Fire Extinguishers
Dry Powder Fire Extinguishers tackle fires by cooling smothering and disrupting the chemical reaction of the burning material. They are designed for Class A, B, C and fires involving electrical equipment fires and have a blue coloured identifying band on them
Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishers
Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishers tackle fires by cooling and smothering the burning material. They are designed for Class A and F fires only and have a canary yellow coloured identifying band on them
